“Wedding Day” Film Premiere
The “Wedding Day” Film Premiere and Red Carpet Event was Monday night! It was such an exciting night. “Wedding Day” is an Independent Feature Film that I worked on in 2010 and 2011. I have worked on a number of short films in the past few years, but this is my first leading role in a full length feature film. This was a big night for me.
I bought a new dress from White House/Black Market for the event. I spend an hour getting ready, making sure my hair and make up looked just right. And finally, I was ready to drive into Hollywood for the Premiere.
When I arrived I was escorted to the red carpet and was photographed by about 10 different photographers. Next I was interviewed about the film. Afterwards I was able to catch up with the cast and directors of “Wedding Day” in the lobby, many of which I haven’t seen since we first started filming in 2010. To learn more about the cast, visit

After all the actors walked the red carpet and were interviewed, we were escorted into the screening room to watch the film It looked great! There will be a limited theatrical release soon. Keep checking back for details.

Location Scouting for “Wedding Day”
Today I went location scouting with the team of “Wedding Day”, a SAG indie feature with celebrity cast members and distribution already in place. Specifically, we scouted locations at Oneonta Congregational Church. We are scouting the church and other buildings on campus for the wedding scene with my character Brooke and fiance Cody, as well as the majority of scenes for our celebrity actor.
I knew Oneonta would be a perfect location, so I was excited to give a tour of the church to the Wedding Day team. And sure enough, they loved it as well. Check out our facebook page for photos:

Our shoot date has been bumped back several months, but we are gearing up to film in July. Keep checking back for details.

Workshop with “Wedding Day” Casting Director, Lindsay Bellock
The Casting Team of “Wedding Day” facilitated a workshop with the Casting Director for the film, Lindsay Bellock. Lindsay is also a Casting Associate for Beth Holmes Casting. “Wedding Day” is a SAG feature shooting over the Summer with celebrity cast members and distribution already in place.
Lindsay passed out sides prior to the workshop. She gave me GREAT sides from a pilot she cast earlier this year called Maggie Hill. I played the character of Caroline, which was a good character for me. I felt really good about my read, I just hope I made a favorable impression on Lindsay. I thought she was great.

The Internet Movie Data Base (IMDB) is a website that tracks film and television projects that actors have worked on. Today I found out that ”Wedding Day”, the Independent Film that I am working on, has been posted on the site. “Wedding Day” is a SAG feature shooting in late March/early April with celebrity cast members and distribution already in place.
